Daycare is an excellent way to give dogs the socialization and exercise they need while learning appropriate interactions with humans and other dogs. They also gain lots of exercise by playing with other dogs or relaxing with our staff, providing stimulation of both mind and body. Indy Hound gives dogs a chance to be part of a “pack” in a safe, monitored environment, when their owners are not around.
HOUSE RULES
We require:
Bordetella - (Kennel Cough Prevention) - 6 month booster or 1 year
Distemper - (DHPP/DAPP/DA2PP)
Rabies - (1 year or 3 year)
Canine Influenza - (Initially a 2 part dosage followed by annual booster, first round required with appointment for second dose to attend)
• If your dog over 6 months of age or older, they must be neutered/spayed.
• Your dog must be on an active Flea and Heartworm Control program.
• In order to make sure your dog is not at risk, they must be at least 12 weeks old.
• Wear a flat collar and ID tag with current contact information (no prong/choke collars during playtime)• Please enter and exit the facility on a leash to keep your dog safe in the lobby.
While most dogs enjoy playing and wrestling with other dogs, there are some that do not. Some dogs have trouble sharing play spaces or are nervous around a large group of others. They may find daycare to be too stressful. How a dog reacts at daycare depends on their socialization experiences. If you are unsure if daycare is right for your dog, we can discuss any concerns you may have.

Any daycare dogs that are still here past 7:15 pm will be booked for an overnight boarding stay (all daycare and boarding fees apply) and will be served our own “house food” ($3 per cup served). If you know that you may be late for pickup, please contact us immediately!
